Machine Press Operator

Monday – Friday 6:00AM – 3:30PM
Production Manager

Essential Responsibilities:

1. The Machine Press Operator is responsible for fulfilling all Work Orders in a timely manner.
2. Employee is responsible to pick the orders and fulfill Work Order accurately and as directed. The pace of picking orders is fast and the employee must have attention to detail.
3. Operates at least one major piece of equipment on any of the fabricating lines.
4. Perform all the daily basic safety checks and observations, quality checks, checklists, and housekeeping
5. Clear equipment jams
6. Ensure compliance to quality control standards
7. Maintain and support equipment
8. Adheres to the requirements of the SOP’s
9. Other duties as assigned
10. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and adheres to all safety procedures as documented in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
11. Report safety hazards, quality and production issues to supervision immediately
12. Participates in all job related safety training
13. Complies with all Dooley Gasket & Seal Inc. policies and procedures and PA laws.

4. Basic math skills
5. Attention to details
6. Basic computer skills
7. Familiar with and able to use hand tools: tape measure, screwdriver, etc.
8. Maintain good safety record

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) not required but preferred
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred
